Couple of thoughts Aldo...

Parts in the bike industry started being anodized (and color anodized) before WWII.

An error in your timeline: 1960 Record front derailleur was not anodized.

Also: 1977 The newer style straight band four hole front derailleur is not anodized. 1977 The newer style shift levers with engraved rather than raised letters are not anodized either. 1977 The newer style single-bolt Nuovo Super Record (1977) seat post is not anodized. 1985 C-Record hubs (1985) are not anodized. 1985 C-Record down tube shift levers (1985) are not anodized.

Interesting theory though about the year 1958!
