It's been brought to my attention that anodizing, including various colors, predates the Campy parts in already mentioned. But, was anodizing common with other Italian equipment makers before the 1960s?
What are the examples of anodized parts, and where are they from? Could this have been a problem or simply ignored in Italy? Would anyone aver that England and France were WAY ahead of Italy in engineering during those years?
