Did either of the people who have hubs so marked say what model/year their hubs were? I've never seen such a marking on old Record (NR) hubs. Kerrigan said it was stamped below the script logo - by "script logo" I assume you mean the World logo with script Campagnolo running through it? And Where exactly - right under the script but still within the World, or between the World and the block-lettering "Record" that's normally just below the World? Or are these hubs old enough to not say Record below the World logo ('58-'62)?

Since all old Record hubs used 7/32" balls, there would be no logical reason to mark a few of them to indicate so.
