I 32nd (or whatever) the motion to urge Ken to stay, and who else belongs on this list if not him? (and the other aforementioned members, Jan, Chuck, my good friend Bruce, e-pal e-RICHIE, and so many others whose expertise and views add so much to the list). The archives of this list will be a primary resource for the historians of the future, when -- who knows? the value of the bicycle to civilization may finally be recognized, and the classic lightweight as its pinnacle. IMHO. A lot of cycling "lore" would be lost, as a lot of it probably has been, for lack of a forum like this. Hold that line!

And I say, if Ken really leaves, let's draft him.

PS The Other Other Dennis (below) said it best so far. Japan's had a good effect. Thanks for the image!

Ken,

I was out riding the day before yesterday, out in the flats where I could watch the dark storm clouds start to move in over the mountains from the west. I remember thinking about some information you had earlier posted. Riding a cool bike and thinking about a bit of history along the way, the wheels making a whirr....what could be better!, and I can't put into words the value of this to me for my life. It has been a tough new year for a lot of people...may even get rougher. It's a time for resiliency, wish you'd stay with the CR list. I much appreciate your scholarly input, as do most I believe.
