To add to some things a Baron and Jan H. said earlier about the availability and prices of bikes and parts out there. I've been looking for such a frame for quite a while for Mitzi and had resigned to build one for her. I wish I could buy this one but I haven't sold my Burley tandem project to get the money to spend on bike stuff. On the other hand I can pass this up because I know another nice mixte frame or bike will show up. The key to getting the stuff you want is patience. Some people use money to make up for time and that's fine too, but I have much more time than money. Sure I bid on Ebay sometimes, but I very rarely win. I also have faith whatever bike I want will show up for the right price in the next few years. For those of you who really want something nice keep looking because it will show up.
