Subject: [CR]'mint' meaning

I am curious I thought mint meant 'from the mint' as it did in my coin collecting days-as in 'uncirculated' there was 'brilliant uncirculated' that was extra special and had a nicer more striking appearance about it. There was 'proof'- specially struck for collectors the was 'AU' which is where I'd put a 9 out of 10 - as this is reported to be 90% in other words

then following were extra fine, fine, vg, g, fair,poor....

Not that I'm criticizing,as the lister is stating just 9 out of 10

The good news is that this can help establish a value for the ones I have

There are rare and a nice timeline item to me.
