Listmembers,

Vintage Bicycle Quarterly now offers a listing of stolen classic bikes on its web site. If you are buying a classic bike, please check whether it is listed.

To have a bike listed, you need to be a subscriber and you need to offer a reward of at least $ 75 for its recovery. This will keep the number of listings low, and useful. We don't want Huffys listed, unless they are truly special (like the made-by-De Rosa ones)! Rather than arbitrarily accept and reject bikes for the listing, I decided that if it is worth at least $ 102 to you (reward plus subscription fee), it will be listed.

At the web site, you'll see a few other changes, too, a few new photos, table of contents for all issues so far, etc.. And I now do accept subscriptions paid with PayPal.

Issue 3 (Spring 2003) is at the printers and should be in the mail next week.
