Sorry about that previous msg., I hit the send button a bit too soon.

Anyway, a friend sent me a few photos of some bikes he's trying to identify and date (his brother-in-law passed away and left him 22 bikes! Most are too new for the list but here are three interesting oldies:

Warning: This is the first time I've used AOL's online pics, so I don't have a clue as to whether either of these links will work or not. If you have probs, email me and I'll send you a .zip file.

The first bike's a Legnano. It has the frontside seat binder bolt but more braze-ons than I've seen on most Legnanos and not appear to have the large head badge. (I'm supposed to be getting more detailed photos, I''l post 'em when they arrive).

The other two bikes have no decals, but some interesting details. The orange bike appears to have an unusual cutout on the fork crown that looked at first like a Pinarello cutout, but it's so small in the photo now I'm not sure, maybe it was just wishful thinking...

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

PS: I'm trying to get him to offer these bikes to the list before putting them on Ebay, so those of you who like 52cm classic bikes (you know who you are!), stay tuned for further announcements.
