Listmembers,

Haven't had time to write much the past few days, but I need to report a few things. The Cinelli ladies frame was purchased by the first in line to get a shot at it. Charles Andrews now owns the frame. The size turned out to be a seat tube length of 49cm c-t. Charles noted that the frame was designed with what would be a sloping up top tube (if it had one) so the head tube is longer than a small frame that size would be, bringing the saddle height and bars pretty close together. The frame was repainted in approx. 1994 and the owner of the frame insisted on the older Cinelli graphics, so I was mistaken about the decals being the newer style that were original to the frame. Nowdays I would resist doing that with considerable vigor. Charles tells me the frame is very beautiful, and it has a full chrome fork which I never saw. It may possibly not be the original fork, I'll know more when I see the whole thing.

So, for now it belongs to Charles Andrews. He is going to keep it for his collection for the time being. If it ever comes up for sale. I'm sure Charles will let us know. The bike has a home that will result in a completed bike in time. I'm anxious to see the end result.
