Even the runniest silver can be made to stand up and be a fillet, but it is so difficult and slow that no one but a masochist would try to make a frame that way. Similarly, the silver that's better for fillets can be made to wet a lug, but if the gap is tight the high-silver bearing stuff with cadmium is easier to use - which all else equal, results in a better joint. Not night-and-day, but probably at least a bit better. In short: You could, but why?
