When I was 15 and 135 lbs and my friend Liam got some for his Raleigh Team they sure seemed to work. Maybe it was because they were new, or I was so light, or I was just used to the wretched braking on my Sekai 500. Of course when Liam gave me the brakes 12 years later and I put them on a city fixed-gear I came to the same conclusion as Chuck and
Dave.
