This sounds bizzare. If the pedals are all 13.80 mm like the ones Jan measured, it is hard to imagine how they could be such a snug fit in 9/16 BSC cranks. Sounds like there are two versions of ISO "standard" cranks; Japanese ISO = English; French ISO = French. Wonder how the TA's fit in a Campy crank? Do you need a cheater bar to thread Japanese pedals into a TA "BSC" crank? Sounds like everyone has his own interpretation of the "standard", which defeats the purpose of having a standard in the first place
