The LOOK pedals are French-made or at least it is a French company, not sure where the actual manufacturing is done these days. So it's not surprising that they are marked "D" & "G" for Droite and Gauche. I'm not sure this has any significance in regard to thread. The "L" & "R" versus "D" & "G" thing was pretty dependable in indicating the thread on Lyotard pedals, but I'm not sure this was ever true of other French pedal manufacturers.
