Hi Marty,
      Without seeing the frame it is difficult to really determine if it is repairable, never the less, I have done some BB repairs. You might see if a local builder can nickel/silver braze the crack (nickel silver is a high temp high strength about 85,000 to 95,000 psi). And if necessary perhaps reinforce it with a steel plate.
