Peterborough is in Cambridgeshire, approximately 80 miles north of London and is very cental for a visit to England. It has excellent road and rail links and is close to Cambridge. Cambridgeshire is an historic county and has strong links with the USA. There are numerous war memorials in the area for Americans who flew from bases in the UK during the last war.
