I remember working on quite a few of these frames, either repairing or refinishing them. I know them quite well.

They had excessively strong forks. I repaired quite a few that had been crashed with the fork remaining completely undamaged but the top and down tubes being. folded.(Just as with Cinelli's).

There was no Echelon factory. Echelon was just a private label name owned by DIN Industries who was the importer.

Actually, the Echelon frames were made by Cherubim, a very well respected Japanese builder, whom I once had the great pleasure to visit.
