Yhis one actually looks orange, an interesting color. Way too bad about the 'Wheaties Era' paint/decal scheme. I have a similar one, it's a '73-era with a '90 paint scheme that causes the same emotion. Nuice but I have to explain it every time- and that's when I'm trying to tell myself about it.

Speaking of older Paramountsand since Bill Ward's name came up recently....., does anyone know the name of the guy from Bill's neck of the woods (Pacific NW) who had a massive collection of Paramounts (40-ish in all) from prewar to 80's. Name might have been Gary Porter and his list was in a mailing that might be stashed. Robert Jennik was another interesting PDG insider. I gfot several interesting sell-off's from him. A couple of pdg repaints from '39, aome great 50th anniversary polo and t shirts, some embroidered bags.... even an experimental trike. There was an experimental Schwinn frame I passed up- an M.C.-Escher-stule frame that had every tube skewed and brazed on an offset. It rode straight and everything was properly aligned but made one dizzy to look at it.
