Charlie- Allow me to try and muddy the waters a bit here when it comes to single bolt seatposts. From mid to late 70s Italian "B" level bikes that I have seen, a single bolt GPM seatpost appeared Before the single-bolt Campy SR model. By "B" level I mean second-tier Pinarello, Bottechia, Bianchi, etc. models. To make the waters even muddier, "stock" parts on these bikes could be different for early in the year production vs. later in the year production. String me up to dry, but I have found no credible evidence refuting this observation. Cheers, Dave Anderson Cut Bank MT

Any chance that the Zeus fluted single bolt seatpost preceded the introduction of the Campagnolo SR single bolt model? I probably need a Nuovo Record 26.8 for my ca. 1975 Teledyne and only have the subject Zeus and Campagnolo SR seatposts in 26.8mm. Figures...
