One of my employees had an off topic bike (Salsa mtb) clear powder coated and is held up astoundingly well. In contrast, if I recall correctly, for a brief period, Witcomb USA offered clear Imron on their frames. Even though they issued an accompanying disclaimer, it didn't do well at all and that option was quickly eliminated (Am I remembering that correctly E-Richie?)
