I think you mean 6 speed UniGlide (S.I.S.). The UniGlide had a normal tooth
profile with a twist in it and they held up really well, if you change your
chain frequently enough to not murder it with a worn out chain. The
HyperGlide came out for MTBs and always looked (to me) half worn out when
brand new, but had the advantage of they would shift under extreme chain
tension (you didn't have to "pause" while pedaling to get a shift). I still
use S.I.S. with Sedis (now Sachs) chains and they shift well.
