Call it period hot rodding. I changed my PX-10's brake housing the first time I did an overhaul. I think it was Wescon housing, big fat black stuff with special end fittings because it was so fat. Anyone remember that stuff? And years later when teflon became available, stopped using grease in the housings.

I am finally hoping to get the old PX-10le up and running, elevating it from status king of the closet to Le Roi du Route. I will probably recable it with white teflon cable housing and modern brake cables. I am just curious as to how many think this is heresy. Personally, while I love MAFAC brakes, I hate their housings.
