By popular demand Yesterday I had a chance to see both bikes,so here is the rundown MERCIAN(56X57)70s bike is my guess but could be older. It had 27" wheels and rear caliper still needs dropbolt.(thought those RIGIDA/TIPO wheels are dead straight)bike is white with red panels, paint is pretty dull and chalky looking with no apparent dents, bends etc bike has been ridden a lot but looks very well maintained. NR cranks ,brakes ,ders with barends, seat post.Alloy RECORD hs.CINELLI bars and stem with padded UNICANITOR saddle.MKS track pedals with unknown straps and clips.Only braze on on whole bike is chainstay cable stop. This bike has plenty of patina with a slight amount of rust showing on top tube behind head lug as it sets it would make a great rider.Bike appeared to be very well maintained. Seller is an unemployed fellow who due to financial realities is selling the bike his asking price is $500 which maybe soft and probably is.

MASI GC gosh, guys its the real thing with undated CAMPI NR (and pretty wasted universal levers less hoods)CINELLI stem, bars and saddle.PHIL hubs(rusty barrels) curved QR, newer MA2s,straight gauge spokes with off topic SPECIALIZED armadillos(700x23) wrong chain(SACHS?) and straight cog regina(ORO?)Alloy pedals with quill ends cut off.BINDA extras and CHRISTOPHES. 56X56(give or take) condition of the bike finish is pretty rough with bare metal showing in various places(this is pretty well illustrated by photos) Big question mark is bump on underside of DT behind headlug.its big enough to feel ,it does not appear to affect the handling.Fork appeared straight but what I noticed is that the chrome on crown was excellent and it had chrome ends also....rear dropouts show no chrome at all(heres where the experts might chime in)Owner may pull fork and see if it is the original to the frame.MIKEY the owner seems straight forward and honest. As it sets it would require some preservation to keep it as a rider or you could go full bore as most of the right stuff is there...........the question mark is the frame damage and how big of a deal you want to make it.

Above descriptions and analysis carrys no warranty, they are strictly my observations and I have no relation to either seller.
