Gary,

Must have been the thrill of writing to such an august group (myself excluded, or course). Anyway, if one is not too proud, a rear drop bolt can easily be used in the front by drilling out the rear hole in the crown and using a long recessed Allen nut. It doesn't need to be counterbored. Anyone who would take issue would probably not approve of the brake swap anyway. You can always turn a little bushing to take up the slop if you decide to change back to a nutted brake that actually stops the bike, later.

Steve "what a cretin" Barner, Bolton, Vermont (Don't flame me--I have four bikes with Campy brakes--a real thrill-seeker, with a strong grip.)

\r?\n> Oops, my first posting to the list and I messed up. I meant to write that

\r?\n> to the best of my knowledge, Campagnolo produced only a REAR brake drop

\r?\n> bolt. Thanks to Lee Berg for catching it, now let's see how many more

\r?\n> corrections come through.
