I recently became the owner of a 22" alan of italy aluminum 1970's bike and this is frame without any labeling nor does it have a head badge. However, the words "Alan" and "Italy" are indeed engraved into the head lug with fleur de lis / oak leaves around them.

Question : Is this the only such type of bike to ever come stock with engraved decorations (beyond serial no's and BB cutouts, of course) ??
