Somewhere, I copied an exchange between Dale Brown and someone named Louis (perhaps on a different list, Dale?) about the merits of a Super Record short cage on a "drop" parallelogram Rally. I recall the consensus was very favorable (using Shimano? pulleys to manage modern, narrower chains). That was two computers ago and I no longer have a soft copy, but somewhere around here is a hard copy, which I hope to find soon.
