As I have already been asked by two people to translate the text of the Lamborghini bike auction that I outed earlier, it reads:

The auction is for an absolute rarity. Lamborghini produced this absolute rarity in a numbered 500 piece production run many years ago. Long before people such as Porsche, BMW and Mercedes did the same.

It was built with what at the time were top quality components. The frame is made out of Aluminum and the parts were weight-optimized so that a total weight of approximately 7 kg was reached (!!!).

The bike has hardly been ridden. The auction is for an outspoken collector's piece in excellent condition. Only parts of the saddle show signs of light surface corrosion The bike is still equipped with the original tires and is in absolute overall original condition.

The bike is assuredly also of interest to Lamborghini lovers, as the production of this bike is another part of the company history.

The new price of this one of a kind bike was approximately DM6000 over 20 years ago (about $3000)

I am offering this bike up for auction for a friend. He is the original owner of the bike. Prior to the conclusion of the auction, you are welcome to inspect the bike. A personal pick-up of the bike would be preferable, but shipping is in principle possible. In this case the risk and cost would be the responsibility of the buyer. Shipment only after prior payment. Otherwise payment uponhand-over.
