I have a pair on a 1980 Colnago. I love 'em. I think they were intended as a cyclocross tubular but I like fat tubulars on the road too. The pair I have don't have hops or warps. I can't say the same for a lot of newer tubulars that I have tried. Cheap or expensive, all the new ones have imperfections that drive me nuts (which is why I converted all my new bikes to clincher). plus, it is hard to find a wide tubular without a knobby tread these days. Are there anymore where these came from? Few things are better that a set of wide tubulars. Does anyone know of any other options out there?
