Dale,

My last minute preparations (frantic, of course) involved arrangeing for a stand for my bike and a stand for just a frame. I have several portable stands for my bikes, but a solo floor mounted frame stand is quite a different thing. Since I was still sweating the last minute petsitting details, such a problem seemed at first to be a big deal. Then I remembered I had some stray parts from an old bike stand that holds the bike from the BB shell. After removing the hook from the common floor stand, I slid the holder part directly over the square pole of the stand and suddenly I had the perfect frame display stand. Since it needed just a little more stability, I extended the legs a bit by fitting the ends of used drumsticks in the shorter legs. Everything breaks down and fits into my suitcase. The ultimate Rube Goldberg, cool!

The clock is ticking way too fast as I try to keep things rolling here AND do the last second preparations that are common when I have to leave here for a few days. Most certainly I will not catch everything. Solved the stands issue, time to prepare the lugs for the demo. Wanted to bring some fresh new files to use, but no time to go get some. Maybe Dale has a chainsaw I can use so I can get the job over with quick.
