Ok, so it isn't period correct, but the frame and fork are! Just received some new Tektro nutted brakes yesterday and that what was holding up the completion of the bike. The frame was purchase from a list member and has a serial number of A14. The braze-ons suggests that it is a late 70's bike, but haven't received conformation from Rauler yet as to the year. The components are what I had in the basement that would work in order to get the thing rolling, but it still has a nice overall appearance. It has had frame saver application so if it does get wet in Greensboro it will roll on the pavement and not #23.
Will be wearing Depends Under Garments on the way to the Cirque just incase I get so excited..............well you know.
