Don't hear to much about the Major on this site but some time ago I saw a preview of a movie about MT and asked if anyone knew of it or how to obtain it. Well my daughters did not give up the quest for over a year now and their efforts have been rewarded. They somehow found it and I got my copy of part one, again thanks to my daughters, and looked at it over the weekend. It focuses on his days of racing in Australia and not so much a biography of his entire life or career. Robert Vaughn plays his Father In Law and the acting is a bit over done but tolerable. The focus is on how MT tried to overcome the prejudices in Australia during the turn of the century. It also gives a flavor of racing, promotion, and tactics of the time with other notable real racing personalities. It was released in Canada but not in the States and that is why it is not easy to get a hold of. Pretty interesting and of course I do not have part 2 to give a complete review but when it is available my daughters will come through again.
