Subject: [CR]Retro Swag - Tour de France

The Tour de France is amping up the retro items at their swag shop for this years TdF. Some of the stuff will compliment a vintage bike quite nicely. While in Paris in February I saw everything at the start of the selection process. It was interesting and there was quite a variety. At the time I figured there was no way they would actually attempt to sell some of the more hardcore retro stuff. Wrong. Today I received an email from a friend at the TdF offices that outlines the final picks. Metal water bottles with cork tops held by a natural fiber cord aka 1948, 1920's - 30's - 40 & 50's style jerseys with various collar styles (including tennis collars), 1950's style wool knickers, the list goes on. If the TdF used the same vendors whose product I saw in February, the quality is first rate.

The stuff is supposed to be up the the TdF webpage within a couple of weeks.
