I've posted photos of some of the bikes and attendees at the Cupertino B.S. 50th anniversary Concours. I'll wait for our road trip correspondent Mr. Baylis, whose still on the road as of this writing, to post his observations, but as a teaser, there were some beautiful bikes present. It was a real pleasure hangin' out with our NoCal brothers and sister Jan, and the usual suspects from SoCal. Kudos to Vance Sprock for putting on this event, plans for the 2nd annual Cupertino Concours are already being made. The ride was a blast, a very nice route, but since this was my first ride in three months after an injury layoff, the climb felt like the Muur de Huy. Jan, whose bike handling skills are legendary, carried a video camera on the ride, some hilarious moments recorded for sure. Was it worth the 780 mile round trip? You betcha! It's not(just) about the bike. The people, old pals and new acquaintances, are what make these events something special and give us all a comaraderie and sp irit of community. Anyway, enough blathering, heres the link:

p.s. please be patient with YahooPhotos, it's easily overwhelmed. I'll leave the photos up long enough for everyone to visit at their leisure.
