Gotta go with David and others on this if I read him right. As a member of the modern retail corps, I must sompare the $2,500 with what oner gets new. A Waterford W-13 is a remake of the old Paramount , clse as they can get it. Still a new bike. With very basic campy, it goes over that $2.5k

Still no nostalgia or memory bringbacks.

A full repaint with masking and decals by the official Paramount refinisher, maybe $500 plus. Aren't the Asians paying $500 for that classic NR crankset with flute? Add it upo, do the math. I dunno, but I'm probably not the only one who exherts a sigh at an old Paramount. I'm trying to collect all colors, including the funky ones like refigerator coppertone.

I had my own full original (basically NOS) '69 at the Cirque.

Like it? Get it! ride, enjoy
