Well, I am going to swim against the tide (I seem to do a lot of that) a bit here. I think the $2500 NOS Paramount is not a bad deal at all. Sure you can find a lightly used one for less. However even buying it to ride is not so bad. Show me another complete new bike with any more of the mysterious MoJo that can be bought for $2500. You'd be talking very bottom end on a Litespeed or a Seven, if you could even get into one at that money. Everywhere you went it might get slight notice from knowledgeable bike folks. I think anywhere you went knowledgeable folks (and who really gives a s**t what others think?) would say "Wow! That is one really cool bike!" Now you can pretend you don't really care what these folks think, but even if you're the rare collector/rider who really doesn't care, you're in a very tiny minority. If that were not the case, you'd see a lot more ordinary bikes at gatherings and bike shows. I think if one has the money and the desire to own the NOS Paramount they would be well advised to seriously consider the "Buy It Now" while they can.
