In reply to the respondents on this query:

Steve Neago: Thank you, I live in the UK so this is very useful [link to H Lloyd]. I'm sure once I find out which style to use, these giuys will have it in stock!

Bill McGehee: Hi Bill -

Thanks for your detailed reply. It's a confusing one this, since I'm finding it hard to determine which model mine was. The link I included which details CB history had some useful information and pictures, but you can't quite make out the decal style due to the angle of the photos in the catelogue. Also some of the models were probably based on largely the same frame design.

My frame has top tube pump pegs and a lamp bracket on the forks - it also doesn't have seat tube stays which wrap over at the top. I reckon this ought to narrow it down to one of the following models:

-Coureur -Challenge -European -Electron Super 5 -Classique

If you (or another reader) knows if a standard lettering style was used on these models - and I'm thinking it might be the blocky style for all these, sometimes in a white box, on the down tube - I'd be grateful for the advice. I wonder which of these models, if any, displayed the model name on the top tube somewhere?

Also - is there is more than one blocky lettering style? Or is it just the one, quite wide characters without serifs?

My bike also has a tin head badge, with the olympic bands, the wreath, and London.Engand at the bottom.

Cheers,

Bill Roberts, London UK.
