Years ago I painted my '73 Atala Record Professional a blue Hammertone with rattle cans. I figured it would be tough and I really liked the toolbox finish. I had all the appropriate stickers for the seat top and down tubes left over from my first job at a bike shop back in the bike boom of the early '70's (Happy Cycling!, Baldwin,NY, closed after the boom busted). I still have the bike and the finish has held up fine.
