Subject: [CR]shifter slippage

Thanks to all who offered advice on my shifter slippage problem. It was in fact the adjusting screw bottoming out against the frame.I ground off a few mm's of the d-ring screw, roughed up the plastic washer, lubed everything and clamped it down as tight as I could. No more slippage!Still very little feel and very stiff action.I may seek out the Simplex shifters after all. By the way,has any one successfully mounted Suntour ratcheting shifters, (superbe, sprint,or other high end versions) or Riv Silvers to clamp on shifter mounts?Love to get that combo to work..... Thanks Again,
