NEW SALE ITEMS
a. NOS Campy NR Triple Inner chainrings/ one available: 36 tooth Campy or 32 tooth Merz. Pre tandem I picked up a Campy NR triple with BB in used, decent shape, along with two NOS inner rings, one Campy and a Merz 32 toother, both in the original wrappers. Both are excellent, almost NOS except for some shop wear, very, very faint. I'm offering one of the inner rings. Your choice (I'll keep the other) $75, US shipping included. Or, if you're as crazy as me, the cranks (170 mm, 54 x 47 x 36 medium used rings), bb and both spare inner rings for $250 including US shipping.
b. Cinelli Black 1R stem and 40 cm Giro bars. Both items in almost excellent cosmetic condition, just some very light scratches. Stem could be touched up with black paint, and presto: no marks at all. Bars have a few more marks on the center section on the bottom, where no one will see them. Stem extension is 12cm, measured from center of bolt to center of bar along the top of stem. Both are new logo. Paint fill on top of stem fading a bit. Easy to renew. $47, including shipping.
c. 24.5 inch Raleigh International frame for sale. Repainted 2000 by Matt Assenmacher, and updated (or shamlessly tarted up, take your pick) with green metallic paint, 2 sets of starred bottle bosses, bb cable guides, pump peg and rear end spread to 126mm. I bought the bike from First Flight Bikes for a song when the rear end was dented in shipping to another customer. Matt filled the dent and checked the alignment along with the rest of the work. Paint nicely done to my eye, but this has been my main ride for two + years and has a few scuffs and nicks. The worst ones are shown in the pics, particularly one next to the head badge (the headbadge is very nice, BTW), and a longer scratch under the "International" on the left TT. Left inside chainstay has tire rub mark(also in pic/don't run titanium skewers with a triple if you weigh 230lbs +). One BB cable guide has chip. I haven't tried to touch any of these marks up, but the chips aren't through the primer, so very fixable. Chrome very good to excellent. Masking for painting was done on top of lugs, so paint is on side/edge of lugs. One other cosmetic error, the tubing sticker is displaced to the left about 1/4 inch. Shop assistant put wrong sticker on, Matt sent me a replacement, I got it on level but didn't start in the correct place. Pic shows slightly off center sticker, and you can see edge of wrong sticker protruding on right side of tubing sticker (not in pic). (sigh). Bike comes with both brake hangers (rear is built in, bike originally came with centerpull brakes/but a standard reach Campy NR may just fit), Ritchey black headset, and I'll leave on the Campy DT shifters (nos when I got them). Frame rides beautifully, so I assume this one got brazed all the way through or else I would have broken it. Top tube is 57cm (C-C), chainstays are 42 cm, wheelbase is 101.5cm. A beautifully light handling sport bike. I hate to let it go. The paint and repair work was $325. Asking $275 (-$25 for chips, and -$25 for sticker goof) plus $20 for shipping in CONUS. Serial # E4000191, so a 1974 model made early in the year. Frame currently has a Campy Racing Triple BB in; I'll include it in sale for $10. Call me about the cranks.
