I actually LIKE lawyer lips on my fixee, as I sometimes can be remiss in tightening the nuts when taking the bike in and out of cars. IE, I like them on a bike with solid axles and nuts. Sometimes I just snug them tight with my fingers. Discovered recently that I had finished a thirty mile ride with the front hub only finger tight!

With quick release skewers, you are most unlikely to make that mistake.... I dispise them on my other bikes and tend to file them off.

I was just curious if he rode with lawyer lips after his famous courtroom testimony where he said that quick release skewers can pop open on their own. In my younger days, Howard was one of my heroes. Not any more.
