SO FAliero ,during that period of time,was only on the marketing side of the business?or was he doin some "sidejob" in the shop?becuz,a while ago,i chased a dude with my scooter,he was ridin this cool champagne masi,so i thought that maybe he was interested on selling.So i pulle dover right next to him and i said"cool bike!"SO we started talkin while still both "on saddle",so i asked him ab out the bike and stuff.He told me that the bike was part of a Gruppo Sportivo,he and hi steamamtes all had brand new masis(GC)that were sent to Falieros(his words)to get repainted with the team color and for some modification.One of the modifications consisted on a lightened chainring.This ring,had the Faliero Firma on the back.script style,engraved on it.So i took pix of it(dude with belly,raybans and sammontana jersey included!)This would be a "sign"tha faliero would still do something.of course,its not a frame,but u know.....u never know!I still have an "italian -vibe" about this story,so we will see!BTW ,i rode the bike for the firs ttime few days ago,and it rides ultra-nicely!(my opinion)
Ok Brian and crew, i ll be investigating,if i get more details,ill keep u all informed.Ill also send the pix of the ring to whoever wants to see them,at no charge!
