In 1962 Oscar Juner, at American Cyclery offered me an older frame. A Cavallari, it was a well made serviceable racing frame, unfortunately I needed to file out the teeth on the rear dropouts and use a new hub if I was going to use a modern derailleur, a Gran Sport.
It was a wonderful riding bike, in 63 I bought my first Cinelli, the stays on the Cavallari broke, and it sat in the closet for several years till it went to the land fill.
