It can get costly if one's not careful. An employee who shall remain nameless (to protect a job) once got excited when he took a used bike into the shop for purchase. In my typical generosity and appreciation for fine bikes, I told him to offer more than what he wanted to offer for this 'Cionelli', as any of them were worth more than the agreed figure. He offered more , but not quite my figure. I came down to inspect the find and it was in fact a frame with a cinelli BB shell. Manufacturer still unknown to us, but at least a fair rather than unfair price. Larry Black Mt Airy, Md.

'back from an early AM beat the heat, crowds, and PA ozone 50 miles in Gettysburg' Had a to-be-trued wheel in the car I could have had Roy finish while I rode. Wouldn't that be a switch!
