You were using chromes tensilized mylar. It comes in tape form and also in an actual metal tape form. For awhile we carried frames from Anre Bertin from Hallett's out West. these hasd Reynolds A-B tubing (never heard if that before or after these Bertins) We noticed that the chrome on the chainstays was nothing more than shrink-fit chrome mylar. It was foggier and actually softer to the touch that the actual,chromed
steel.
