In deference to my increasing age and non-shrinking waist, it's time to seek the lowest possible chainring for my '65 Paramount. Please, nothing for 1/8" (track) chain. Want good enough condition to ride a few hundred mi./year for the next two decades, need not be too pretty. Have lots of 144 bcd rings I can trade, or can be induced to pay cash.
(Dan Artley led a beautiful ride this afternoon north of Baltimore, and a really nice picnic afterwards, BUT, this was fixed-gear-friendly for the under 40 crowd only. Actually, I rode the paramount, with 22 largest FW, so I had a 58" low gear. Would have been better off with my ASC fixed gear!)
