Thanks to the generous donation of time from a number of knowledgeable list members, I've been getting a real education in the subtleties of dating the Cinelli Model B. For those interested, links to a number of "before" images are given below followed by a list of the pieces currently attached to the bike. I'm inclined to a mid fifties date at this point and am feeling very guilty about my 18 years of neglecting the old gal. The paint and (faded) decals appear much as they did 20 years ago but the chrome has bloomed with a non-trivial amount of rust. I plan to clean things up as best I can and wax to prevent further deterioration.
Suggestions of alternate plans would be very welcome as would list members assistance in establishing a definitive dating.
I really appreciate your help.
