Attention all BVVW members and every one else:
On Wednesday,July 16, , there will be a showing of the film "Beauty and
the
Bicycle: A Tale of Two Frame Builders". Reception at
6PM and films following at 7PM. This film, previewed at the International
Cycle
History Conference in Ottawa and then at the Cirque in North Carolina, is
being
shown full screen at the famous Anthology Film Archives in Manhattan (
corner of 2nd Avenue and 2nd Street, Manhattan). The frame builders featured
in the film, Peter Weigle and Richard Sachs, will attend,
and will be available for Q and A following the film. The film was
produced and directed by CR list member Alan Bernstein and is part of a
month long bicycle festival in New York City.
Post film eats at Katz's deli on Houston St. Get the pastrami "wet".
