I met Dave Staub only once at this year's Cirque. The thing that struck me the most beside all of his accomplishments and contributions to the world of cycling, was the way he handled himself. Instead of swagering around, Dave was quiet, genuine, interesting and interested. A true role model for humanity. The world of cycling has lost a hero and he'll be missed by the ones that new him best.
