OK Campagnolo experts, who has the knowledge on this brake nut detail:

My 73/74 Raleigh team bike has it's original SR rear derailleur stamped "PATENT 73." The brakes are short reach, nutted. The bike is extremely original and documented one owner. I've just finished polishing each brake component and noticed that the front brake nut is chromed steel, rear brake nut is chromed steel with a translucent nylon insert (nyloc nut) and NOS Campagnolo stock replacement brake nuts that I have are chromed steel with green nylon insets. The profile of the two nyloc nuts is identical whereas the one without the nylon insert has a slightly longer and more rounded tail. When did the changes take place and is my assumption, based on my original bicycle, that 1973/74 is when Campagnolo began to use the translucent nuts? When the switch to green and were other color nylon inserts used?

Yes, way to much detail for many on the list but if you've read this far you'll probably know the answer or go check your bikes to educate me/the list on your findings.
