i know it is off topic but it would be cool if someone on this list bought this shop and opened a vintage bike shop in the l.a. area. i do not know the seller or the agent and will receive nothing from the sale. burl simon in los angeles ---------------------- Forwarded Message: --------------------- From: "Robert Meyer" <rpvmeyer@cox.net> To: <kimkong@aol.com>, <sbowen@compuserve.com>, <pleven@pobox.com>, <nancyadnil@webtv.net>, <b.b.simon@att.net> Subject: L.A. Ladies and Gentlemen, I am an agent with BIR Business Brokers, Torrance. I have a listing for a bike shop netting $200k per year. I have been frustrated in finding a qualified buyer. I find people with money, who don't know the first thing about bicycles; and people who know bikes, but haven't the money. This would be a terrific opportunity for someone to own a business involving something they love. I thought perhaps someone, or a combination of individuals in your organization might be interested. The asking price is $275K, plus a fresh inventory of approximately $180k. In addition, a new owner would need some amount of working capital. The store is currently open 5 days a week, but a partnership could run it 7 days a week, and expect to increase sales. Please e-mail me, or call my cell @ 310-346-6066 if you, or someone you know,
has an interest.
Thank you,
Bob Meyer
