Dale, I would love to hear more about who made this saddle and under what arrangement with Cinelli or Unica.
All I know for sure is what's printed on the side, in an oval where you find the usual Unicanitor logo: UNICANITOR (follows top of oval) MARCA REG. (across middle, almost illegible) HECHO EN MEXICO (follows bottom of oval)
There are no other markings on the leather or underneath the shell.
I cannot feel a molded in logo on the side under the leather, while my Italian unpadded leather version has the molded in logo as well as the printed logo on the leather cover. (I know this because the leather was so torn up that I removed it completely).
